太原礦山機器集團有限公司始建于1925年，屬國有大型一類企業(yè)，占地面積88萬平方米，注冊資本37518萬元,現(xiàn)擁有職工2600余人，其中高、中級技術人員400余人，加工設備2000余臺套，其中精大稀加工設備100多臺套。2005年，在省委省政府及有關部門的推動和大力支持下，以太原重型機械集團牽頭，聯(lián)合7家省屬煤炭企業(yè)共同組建了太原重型機械集團煤機有限公司，太礦集團成為煤機公司的核心企業(yè)。 太礦集團先后開發(fā)出百余項產品，有30余項填補了國內空白，有50多項產品達國際先進水平，按產品結構劃分為四大類：煤炭采掘設備類、冶金軋制設備類、潤滑液壓系統(tǒng)及元件類、電氣控制設備及系統(tǒng)類。其中煤炭采掘設備為太礦的拳頭和主導產品，在國內和國際上享有盛譽。太礦作為中國煤機技術的引領者，被中國和國際同行所認可，太礦為中國煤機技術的不斷進步做出了重要貢獻。 近年來，太礦獲得了多項榮譽：太礦成為國家科技支撐項目的科研承制單位；中國煤炭機械工業(yè)協(xié)會授予“全國煤機工業(yè)優(yōu)秀企業(yè)”稱號；被中國企業(yè)發(fā)展監(jiān)督管理委員會和中國質量管理體系認證中心聯(lián)合評為“中國礦山機械十佳企業(yè)”；電牽引采煤機被山西省工商行政管理局評為“山西省著名商標”；被山西省名牌產品推薦委員會評為“山西省名牌產品”。 2007年中國權威統(tǒng)計資料表明，太礦集團公司在全國11個采煤機生產企業(yè)中，綜合指標名列全國第一�！‖F(xiàn)階段，太礦已于2008年9月整體搬遷到太重煤機工業(yè)園內。到“十一五”末，太礦將實現(xiàn)銷售收入20億元、利稅2億元以上，成為國內首家綜采綜掘成套煤礦設備的供應商，進入世界一流煤機制造企業(yè)行列。

In 2005, under the promotion and strong support of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government and relevant departments, Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Co., Ltd. was jointly established with seven provincial coal enterprises under the leadership of Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group. Taikuang group has become the core enterprise of coal machinery company. Taikuang group has developed more than 100 products, of which more than 30 have filled in the domestic blank, and more than 50 products have reached the international advanced level. According to the product structure, it can be divided into four categories: coal mining equipment, metallurgical rolling equipment, lubricating hydraulic system and components, electrical control equipment and system. Among them, coal mining equipment is the fist and leading product of taikuang, enjoying high reputation at home and abroad. As the leader of China's coal machinery technology, taikuang has been recognized by Chinese and international counterparts.
