荊州市巨鯨傳動機械有限公司，位于歷史名城荊州，是國家最早定點的專業減速機生產廠家之一，至今已有近四十年的減速機制造經歷，擁有一批減速機制造的優秀人才，減速機設計、生產能力在全國同行業處于領先地位，是中南地區最大的減速機專業生產廠家。
公司現有員工600多人，其中工程技術人員200余人。廠區面積13萬平方米，建筑面積4萬平方米，擁有立式加工中心、數控鏜銑床、磨齒機等各種高、精、尖設備300臺（套），有配套齊全的熱處理設備。本公司生產的各種減速機達300多個品種。同時根據用戶要求生產各種非標類專用減速機，年生產能力5000臺（套） 以上。
公司在生產、銷售、財務、倉儲等領域實施了ERP管理；產品設計均采用計算機輔助設計系統；機械冷、熱加工工藝先進，齒輪加工采用滲碳、氮化、磨齒等工藝，精度達到5級以上。擁有三坐標測量機，齒輪綜合檢測儀，封閉式齒輪傳動試驗臺等設備。質量管理體系完善，已通過ISO9001認證。
多年來，公司十分重視技術進步工作，與全國相關行業的各大科研院所保持著良好的合作關系，開發出了一系列技術領先的新產品，有力地保證了企業的可持續發展戰略方針的實現。本公司多次派出優秀人才參加國家組織的高水平更新換代減速器系列產品設計，并取得了良好效果，并在多個行業參與了標準的起草與制定。公司已獲省級高新技術企業認定，是國家火炬計劃項目生產基地。
