荊州市陵達機械有限公司、荊州陵達減速器廠是生產新型減速器的專業生產企業，一九九七年成功的開發了具有我國獨創風格的，新穎的“平面二次包絡環面蝸桿減速器”，這種蝸桿副具有多齒嚙合，瞬時雙線接觸，它的承載能力大；潤滑角大，容易形成動壓油膜，潤滑條件好，它的使用壽命長；蝸桿齒面淬硬，并有符合形成原理的精密磨削，精確成形，它的制造精度高，齒的光潔度高；有著較大的綜合曲率半徑，嚙合特性好，經測試多線蝸桿的效率可達95%，與同規格的普通圓柱蝸桿副相比，具有體積小，重量輕，承載能力大，使用壽命使等優點，在長期的生產實踐中，形成了一整套質量保證體系，榮獲湖北省科技進步三等獎及國家科技進步三等獎。
我廠生產標準平面包絡環面蝸桿減速器中心距，由 80mm至 1200mm，標準公稱傳動比由 5至100，也可以根據用戶的特殊要求設計并制造各種平面包絡環面蝸桿減速器，目前我廠已將該技術成功的用于數百艘軍用艦艇的配套，并廣泛用于民用船舶、冶金機械、礦山機械、輕紡機械、食品機械、建筑機械。化工機械、石油機械、電梯等機械行業，而且遠銷加拿大、埃及、泰國、香港等國家和地區。
