YDS-B系列低速電機，是把普通電機和諧波減速器科學的組合到一起，其外型和普通電機一樣，合理的簡化了傳動機構，無需再配減速器便可直接驅動機械設備。產品具有結構合理、過載力強、穩定性高等優點，是取代傳統減速驅動裝置的理想化設備。
1、 轉速超低：轉速從0.5r/min到40r/min，具有多種轉速系列（見附表），用戶可以根據實際需要選用。
2、體積小，重量輕：因不需再配減速裝置（機），可以大大節省裝機空間，與各類機械設備配套使用更方便，并且能減輕機器設備的整機重量。其中超低轉速（10r/min以下）的低速電機與同功率同速比的擺線針輪減速機相比較，其體積只有擺線針輪減速機的1/2.
3、輸出扭矩大：低速電機的功率損失少，其輸出扭矩遠大于普通電機的輸出扭矩。（見附表）
4、超載能力強、運轉平穩并具備了比普通減速裝置（機）更強的承載能力。轉速誤差不超過0.2r/min。
5、效率高，節省能源：低速電機的機械效率高于各類減速裝置（機）的輸出效率，由于效率高，可以節省不必要的能源浪費。
6、可以降低成本，提高經濟效益：同樣動力下，采用低速電機比“普通電動機+減速裝置（機）”更能節省資金，使成本大大減低。
