軋鋼機(jī)專用減速器的工作特點是低速、重載，沖擊負(fù)荷大，沖擊次數(shù)頻繁，而且是連續(xù)工作。隨著我國軋鋼工業(yè)的迅速發(fā)展，鋼材品種的不斷擴(kuò)大，產(chǎn)量的增加，軋制速度的提高，軋制負(fù)荷增大，要求軋機(jī)齒輪傳動裝置具有足夠的承載能力，即具有高強(qiáng)度、高精度、高壽命和高可靠度。因此，現(xiàn)代大中型軋機(jī)齒輪裝置一般都采用經(jīng)精加工的硬齒面和中硬齒面漸開線圓柱齒輪，并采用輪齒修形、深層滲碳、噴丸強(qiáng)化等設(shè)計制造技術(shù)。
